Emma Halladey Lanier is a dance artist from San Francisco, whose choreographic drive led her to audio and video documentary. A graduate of the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, she trained at ODC, earned a B.S. in Dance and Anthropology at Skidmore and spent a year at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila in Madrid. There she performed and did videography for a small company, making a trailer that qualified them for the 2015 Singapore Fringe Festival. In 2016 she was a Storytellers Insitute Scholar and a Margaret Paulding Award recipient for outstanding performance, choreography and research.
