Emily Hansel is a dancer, choreographer, dance teacher, arts administrator, and dancer advocate working in the realm of contemporary concert dance. Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, Emily received her BFA in Dance from the University of South Florida. She currently lives and works in San Francisco. Emily advocates for equitable and ethical working conditions for dancers and her creative work centers on the dancer’s experience. Her choreography has been presented throughout the Bay Area, Georgia, and Florida.
