Nkechi (she/her) is a neuroscientist, choreographer and meditation guide. Nkechi is deeply interested and invested in how performance/sharing movement reveals what is infinitely possible in the realms of transformation and healing.
Nkechi has spent the majority of her life investigating the brain/body relationship and its significance. After attending Scripps College (neuroscience major/ dance minor), she completed an MSc. in Neuroscience (University of Edinburgh). She is a 2017 YBCA Fellow and 2021 Kennedy Center Artist. Her recent work COALESCE (set/performed at Saint Joseph’s Arts Foundation) was published in the San Francisco Chronicle (December 2020).
